Boston Youth Go Tournament

The first Boston Youth Go Tournament (preceded by GBCCA Youth Go Tournament) was held at Neo Millennium Go Club (497 South Main Street, Andover MA 01810) on May 28, 2018 (1st round start at 9:45am sharp).

There were two divisions: under 17 years old (born after May 2000) and under 12 years old (born after May 2005). AGA membership was required.

Sixteen kids participated the first Boston Youth Go Tournament. The top three players of the senior division were Chase (Bin) Fu, Andrew (Hancheng) Xu and Hanchi Ou. Top four players of junior division were Hantong Li, Yuheng Xue, Jin Greene and Jate Greene.

The second Boston Youth Go Tournament was held at Lexington Depot (13 Depot Square, Lexington, MA 02420) on June 22, 2019.

Top 4 of Senior Division (under 18): Hancheng (Andrew) Xu 3d, Chengyou (Charlie) Zhong, Hanchi (Hans) Ou and Jiayong (Justin) Liu.

Top 4 of Junior Division (under 12): Ruihan Cao 5d, Siyu (Steven) Chen, Zhongheng (Christopher) Huang and Youcheng (Andy) Zhu.

Authright Cup was played at 10 am, 2 pm and 6 pm, July 19th and 26th, 2020 at KGS. The tournament was sponsored by Authright Inc. and for Massachusetts residents only. Each player can only participate one division. You can find Authright Cup Crosstabs at: ext https://tinyurl.com/Authright1

The 4th Greater Boston Youth Go Tournament was held at the Lexington Depot (13 Depot Square, Lexington, MA 02420) on Monday, May 29, 2023. Top four of Senior Division (under 18) are Siyu (Steven) Chen, Noah Chen, Youcheng (Andy) Zhu and Charles Lu. Top four of Junior Division (under 12) are Jerry Ruan, Louis Luo, William Zhao and Yujun Chang.
