When playing with GnuGo I like to take a finished game, go back to a certain position and restart the GnuGo engine from there with a variation play.

Now I would like to have all variations in one SGF file. Is that already possible?

I think this is very close to one request in the whishlist <<"Undo" command should create variation instead of erasing last move>>. This seems to be a desirable feature and your id is added as the fourth requester.
