I notice that this Calendar is becoming less popular as time goes by. Why have people suddenly stopped using it? The only real alternative is pretty extensive searching through all the national Go sites in Europe to find a tournament at the time you are interested in.

I think there are relatively few people that know about this calendar :-/

It would be good if some SL editors did some work on this for a time, ie: go by all the national association websites and copy over their dates. If this calendar is consistently up to date and reliable, more people will use it. Initially they'll use it just to look for tournaments, but when it becomes popular, they'll also want to make sure their own tournament is one it...

maybe there aren't so much people travelling to tournaments on european level. so they are looking for tournaments in their country and say the neighbouring country that's it. i added a number of german tournaments, and i may do this once in a while in future for germany and switzerland.

I update this page if I find that I am going to a tournament and it doesn't appear here. I just added the Amsterdam Tournament since the organiser hasn't done so.

While updating this from national calendars is definitely worth trying, perhaps one could also mail a suggestion to organisers suggesting they post their tournaments here to increase their visibility.
