Yang Jinhua

杨晋华

Yang Jinhua is a Chinese professional 6 dan player. He was born in Tianjin on 1952 June 19. He started to learn Go at the age of 11, and entered China's national training team at the age of 24. He attained 5 dan in 1982, and 6 dan in 1986.

Subsequently, he focused on becoming an educator of Go.

From 1993 to 2010, Mr. Yang was active as a Go instructor at the Singapore Weiqi Association. In January 2011, he returned to China. Subsequently, joined the Hong Kong Children's Go College as an instructor. In March 2016, he returned to Singapore Weiqi Association as chief coach.

He was eliminated after losing to Lee Changho by 2.5 points at the 2nd World Go Oza.
