Yamabe Toshiro

Yamabe Toshiro (山部俊郎 Yamabe Toshirō, 31 July 1926 - 2000) was a Nihon Ki-in professional Go player who achieved 9-dan in 1963. He was known as one of the "Three Crows," together with Fujisawa Hideyuki and Suzuki Keizo.

Yamabe was a pupil of Mukai Kazuo. He unsuccessfully challenged for the Oza, Tengen and Honinbo titles. He became the editor of the Gendai Joseki Jiten, a notable joseki dictionary.
