First nobi

This page deals with the standard pattern(s) occurring after B1 stretches here, instead of the taisha solid connection at a or taisha nobi 1 at b.

Standard continuation

The widest path is fairly thick until W3. Then Black has many ways to proceed, of which a to e seem to be the 5 most common pro moves, in order of frequency. a, b and d go for safety for one of the two groups, while c and e increase the pressure on one of the opponent groups.
