RTG Problem 29 / Solution

Sub-page of RTGProblem29

If I am not wrong, this is actually a famous classical problem.

[Diagram]
Solution.

The key move is B9.

[Diagram]
Solution.

The hane at B1 is also a tesuji, so B5 makes two eyes and ataris the White stones at the same time.

B1 at B3 also lives, but W2 will play at B1, so when B3 plays at B5, it is not an atari.

[Diagram]
Failure.

If B9 blocks on the outside, then W10 kills. If Black a, then White b results in a double snapback.
