bugcat: What threshold does a word have to pass over to become a standard Go term?

I'm not trying to prove anything, since I don't care about the difference between the "standard" and "non-standard" terminology. I'll like, though, to get an idea of where thought is on it.

Does a "standard term" have to appear in ink and paper published material?
