Nakano Yasuhiro

    Keywords: People

Nakano Yasuhiro (born 1977) is Kansai Ki-in professional Go player, 9-dan from 2005-01-26. Morino Setsuo was his teacher. Nakano gained promotion to 1 dan in 1992 and obtained his best results in 2001, when he won 38 games, losing only 9.

He has attended U. S. Go Congresses and is a popular teacher. He is known for a famous blunder: ([ext] video here) made during byoyomi in a speed tournament game. His wry acceptance of his mistake is a lesson for more egotistic players.

Phelan: An anonymous user added the link to the famous video above. Although he is more famous for the blunder, I think it's unfair to only have that as the only information about a player beyond most of the amateurs.
