Museki

Hello. My name is Pim, I'm from the Netherlands, and play on KGS as Museki. My current strength there is estimated at 9k; I might be a bit weaker than that, but I sure hope to become stronger than that in the time to come. I study hard and play a lot.

Tamsin: Hi Museki! Welcome to Sensei's Library. Thanks for your kind words about my compass idea. I'm a schoolteacher, and I'm very interested both professionally and personally in cognition and learning techniqes. One day I plan to do some serious research to test my ideas systematically, but I'm glad at this point that you, and others, are getting some benefit from them. Good luck to you. One thing I will say is that focus seems to be a very good thing: choose a skill or knowledge area you want to work on, and then work at it until it gets better. Read books properly as well as skim them. I hope you get strong!
