Maruseru/ Leaning Attack As ALadder Breaker

This position is taken from a weak kyu player's game. The shape of the white stones is strange, but how can Black take advantage of it? Suppose the ladder favours White. One idea is a leaning attack that is also a ladder breaker.

Initial setup  

Diagram 1: 1-6  

: This is the leaning attack. It threatens to cut off one white stone, or to separate the white stones.

: If White doesn't want the stone to be cut off...

: ... then Black can cut.
