Kikuchi Yasuro (菊池 康郎 Kikuchi Yasurō, born 1929) is a Japanese 8-dan amateur Go player.

Has won many amateur titles, including the World Amateur Go Championship in 1992.

In 1975 he founded the Ryokusei Academy, a go school which has produced many professional players, including Yamashita Keigo. John Fairbairn has written [ext] an article on the Ryokusei Academy(Dead link).

On March 10, 2003, at age 73, he defeated a top professional, Ryu Shikun 7-dan, by 3.5 points in the 10th Agon Kiriyama Cup.
