I learned to play Go in college at the age of 19. After becoming seriously hooked, I probably read too many Go books and didn't play enough games. Now 33, I am struggling to achieve shodan (3 kyu on dragon as of 2/21/2004). I still find it hard to make time for Go with my career (software engineering), my wife, two daughters and myriad other hobbies (knitting, music, sailing, camping, fishing, sewing, origami). The Dragon Go Server had been a great help since I can play moves on my own time instead of having to dedicate hours at a time.
I love Sensei's and hope to find time to contribute my own thoughts and ideas. My greatest joy comes not so much from playing the game (although I love it!), but from sharing its beauty with others.
