Kang Yootaek, b. 26 November 1991, is a Korean professional player; promoted 5 dan in 2012-03-20 and 6 dan in 2013-11-22.

He is currently (September 2008) standing on the 5th position in Korean win-loss ranking list with a 40-11 score (78%). He already beat opponents as Yoo Changhyuk, 9-dan and Cho Hunhyun, 9-dan.

Kang, 2-dan started to play Go at the age of 7 in the city of YangChun. He became professional in 2007 by winning the Korean Insei League.

He is playing in Team Yeongnam Ilbo during the Korean Baduk League 2008 together with Yun Junsang, Cho Hyeyeon and reached the quarter final of the 52nd Kuksu tournament.

In 2011 Kang won his first title, the 1st Shinin Wang.

valerio: Team Yeongnam Ilbo won the League on 2008-12-13. In his last game, Kang (his individual score was 11-7) won against Park Yeonghun 9 dan. Kang was member of this Team, winner also in 2009, with the individual score of 7-8.
