This room is intended to be a place for all people beginning their adventure with the KGS to ask for any help. One may ask a question there in any language. Admins and assistants staying in this room will try to help.

Q: Does your name automatically appear in list of players looking for a game when you log in ? I ask because I have never seen my name on a ready to play list and have never been asked to play. All games played have been my challenge. Sophie

A: No, logging does not mean you are looking for a game.
