tderz As Black seems alive after the B1-W2 exchange, why is there a necessity to creep low with B3?

tderz I would certainly consider B3 here. White has the choices W4, b and a. All have pros and cons, but if the corner can live after W4 (in gote?), Black has at least split the white forces. Adifference of some points in the corner does not seem interesting to me at this stage.

civilian? The mistake to me is B9 in the original diagram. Sure, B9 reinforces the corner, but it leaves tragedy in the side.

civilian? Now if White takes W1 here, you can clamp and threaten connecting under or over. (White should probably play at a if she wants to take back some of the corner.)

HolIgor/Mistake 1 Conclusion

Bill: What about W6 in the original diagram? It looks better at W10 to me, but it is complicated.

And then earlier, what about B5?

HolIgor: Yes, I want to know about that too. The tsuke tobi was so unexpected for me that I did not know what to play.
