In the following diagram, suppose you are behind in points and are trying to avoid a shameful loss. You might consider playing a misclick at 'a'. However, you are more likely to convince your opponent that you misclicked if you play at 'b', since it is closer to the edge where you could have been trying to resize your window. Then, you can turn down an undo offer with confidence and blame your loss on your misclick.
