Elroch

It is almost, but not quite, correct to say I started to play go on 1st September 2007. In fact I was introduced to the game in 1979 (when I was an undergraduate mathematician) but only to the level of being told the rules, and after playing a few casual games did not pay any further attention to it for 28 years. In September 2007 I rediscovered the game on Yahoo and then realised KGS was an infinitely better place to play. I primarily aim to improve my understanding and technique, with any improvement in rank being an incidental consequence.
