Diana Koszegi

b. 1983. Female player from Hungary. She began playing go at the age of 9, and was 9th in the WAGC in 1998, and received an offer to become an insei in Japan or Korea, which she declined at her parents' urging.

In 2004 she visited Korea to study, but returned as a result of visa problems. In 2005, she returned to study at Myongji? university, and in May, she succeeded in the tournment to become a yeonguseng. Made a 1p by the Hankuk Kiwon in January 2008.

She translated to english the book 21st Century New Openings by Kim Sung-rae.

Won against Kim Deukkyu (8p) in the LG preliminaries (21 April 2008). The game is available from the Hungarian Go Wiki.
