Tapir: It feels like there are dozens of misconceptions at work in both players (including myself as black). (1st diagram) Is B6 (joseki without the second approach) viable? Is W7 an appropriate answer? Can B8 work? Can't I answer W9 peacefully by playing the 3-3 point? etc. pp. Finally, how to evaluate the result? I was quite clueless about this early fight. But felt I have to try something after W7 in the first diagram.
