Weekly Meetings

We meet in Great Hall Games at 5501 North Lamar every Tuesday evening from 7pm until closing. Some players arrive earlier.

• Just south of Koenig (2222, 290E, Allandale) and Lamar.
• Corner of Nelray & Lamar, one block south of Koenig.
• Diagonal from McDonalds, across from U-Haul.
• Just north of Central Market & Triangle Construction.
• About 1/4 mile north of where Lamar & Guadalupe meet.
• Plenty of parking spaces against the store along Nelray.

Other go meetings in Austin (BYOB "Bring Your Own Boards"):

• The University of Texas Go Club meets Thursdays in Sanchez 526 from 7:00 to 9:00. Burton, the club sponsor, provides paper boards and stones from 7-9, but encourages you to bring your set.

Great Hall Games has a large and frequently updated selection of go books and materials. The owners are also very friendly!

Austin Go Club Email Group

We have an email list on Google Groups. This email list was recently rebuilt; please let your fellow Austin go friends know about it if they might be interested. To join the email group from that link, you must sign in with a Google account. If you do not wish to join with a Google account, send your email address to ancientree@ieee.org with some brief note and you will be directly added to the email group.
