One Space Jump Connection From Two Wall

I find this happening to me a lot. A two stone group is surrounded and down to two liberties. You need to connect out, but an extension is too slow (and makes an empty triangle). A one space jump seems the only other choice... but will it work?

The simple case:

DANGER!

Saved! (variation)  

Seems good! But I seem to lose the stones a lot in similar situations.

Be warned!

If either A or B in the diagram is taken by white, black is in trouble!

You're screwed...  

Not going to save you...  

This either! (unless you can escape to side)  

As with anything, surrounding stones make a big difference.
