Black plays at 1 to win?

unkx80: I don't think so.

Black plays at 1 to win?

W2 turns the position into seki and hence it is a draw.

MasamuneXGP: Found it. B1 is the winning move

[Diagram]
W4 is Pass.

If white tries to keep symetry and hope for jigo, black plays a game-winning manego breaker at B3. White can't mirror it due to shortage of liberties, and A-1 is stupid. W4 is Pass, B5 gets Black two beautiful eyes.

W4 is Pass.

If instead White tries to capture, Black plays B3 and prevents white from making eyes. Again White has nothing, so she Passes, and B5 makes life for Black again.

white can foil any attempt by black to make an eye, after that it's a simple Me Ari Me Nashi.

[Diagram]

After W3 black suffers from a liberty shortage.

failure

If White tries to keep the symmetry from the start, Black can break it and win.

With an eye, White can now mirror for a draw.
