3-5 point 3-3 approach pincer

Pincer possibilities

The pincer play at B2, or at a, is thought to be nothing special for Black, with best play.

Out into the centre

White comes out with W3. Now B4 is normal (Black b, White c is vulgar for Black). White will use b or c next to make shape, depending on the overall position.

See example in 35103 enclosure.

Further away

In case Black makes the more distant pincer, White's play at W3 is popular to get out into the centre.
