Push inside

This is a branch of the 3-4 point high approach, double contact tree .

After W6, Black has four main variations.

Black a is a variation that is being played recently: 3-4 point high approach, double contact, push, atari.

Black b gives a complex variation in which a ladder surfaces. See 3-4 point high approach, double contact, push, cut.

For Black c, which is like Black a in being directed towards influence but also puts emphasis on the left side, see 3-4 point high approach, double contact, push, extension.
